It can also be due to the amount of caffeine you're consuming. Caffeine often serves as a diuretic, making you want to go to the bathroom more. If you're suffering from nocturia, it's best to lay off the fluids before bedtime.

Yes, if you eat a big meal and don't do anything active after, weight gain will catch up quickly. When you lay down directly after eating, your body will not have enough time to burn off those calories. It's normal to feel tired after coming down from a sugar rush.
